What is AFP Resource Dispatcher good for?

When printing with AFP form definition und page definition you need additional resources to print successfully: Coded fonts, code pages, font character sets, overlays and page segments contained in these form and page definitions as well as font resources and page segments contained in overlays.

AFP Resource Dispatcher determines which resources are needed, whether they exist in your current print environment and if they have the correct resolution. If resources are not present they can be downloaded in several ways from host to complete the analysis of the print job. Eventually you can upload all resources comprising a complete print job to the host and start the print process knowing that all you need resides in the printing environment.
