The purpose of MIGRATE is to convert Model2 resources to Model4 resources so you can reuse existing resources in migrating from Model2 printers to Model4 printers.

The Model2 resources must exist as binary files on the PC. Their format is described in the section Resource Formats. Model4 resources are created in AFP's Structured Field format, they are stored as binary files, too.

 Functions to assist migration

Open Resource To open one or several existing Model2 resources to convert them into Model4 format.	Create Coded Font The Create command provides for pairing one code page name with one or more font names to build a coded font for every pair.
View Coded Font To view a Model4 font choose a coded font. You will get a view of the character set and for a more detailed view double-click the character cell.
